Hillyfield Primary Academy

At Hillyfield all children from Reception to Year 6 are expected to wear the correct school uniform every day. 

Below is a list of the approved by the parent forum and Governors - all items on the list are required items of school uniform.

• Uniform trousers and skirts - no track suit bottoms. Grey.

• Plain tights. Grey, black or white.

• Plain black shoes, no coloured laces, or plain and practical black trainers (no logo) - Click here to see examples of suitable shoes.

  • Plain Sandals or Crocs - can be work in the Summer Term and Autumn 1 only. Sandals must have a back strap. During P.E lessons children must still wear trainers or plimsoles. Accepted plain colours for sandals - clear, white, black, navy blue and brown.

• Blue summer uniform dress.

• Navy blue sweatshirts.

• Sky blue shirts - long or short sleeve.

• Sky blue polo shirt - short sleeve.

• Plain black boots (no pom poms, fur or heels).

• Navy blue, light blue, black, white or grey headscarves/Hijabs that are plain in colour.

• Summer footwear should be plain and sensible (no flimsy, strappy or heeled sandals) in blue, black, tan or white

• PE blue shorts, blue shirts, (plain navy blue or black tracksuit bottoms if it’s cold) with plain and practical trainers or plimsols - for indoor use

• Old shirts for art lessons

• Leggings may be worn for PE (Navy blue, black or grey), and under summer dresses or shorts.

• The uniform at Hillyfield is not gender specific
