Our Nursery  provides sessional places for children whose ages range from 2 years old to 4 years old. At Hillyfield Primary Academy we want every child to be the best that they can be. We provide a fun, exciting and stimulating environment, where our children begin their educational journey.

We ensure all of our children have opportunities to achieve their best potential and to become independent, confident learners.

Our curriculum is based on The Early Years Foundation Stage. It is a play-based curriculum which encourages exploration, creativity and active learning. More information can be found at http://www.foundationyears.org.uk/parents/

Daily activities are available for all of the seven areas of learning. Throughout the day children engage in free flow play and activities that interest them. Staff also encourage them to explore new learning opportunities.

In Reception we also follow the Early Years Curriculum . We want our children at Hillyfield to be confident, independent and resilient learners. Children are provided with the resources to support  their learning and ensure they reach their full potential. Learning is active and tailored towards each child so our children explore and discover their talents and brilliance. Both our indoor and outdoor environment, which are accessed through free flow play, provide the children with irresistable learning opportunities.
